La Liga

La Liga is one of the most popular professional football competition in the world and has been the strongest league in Europe, it is  officially named Liga BBVA (BBVA League) for sponsorship reasons. The league is the home of some of the best footballers to ever played the game. It is under the UEFA confederation and was founded in 1929. It is presently contested by 20 teams in which a total of 60 teams have competed since it was founded. The most decorated team in La Liga is the Real Madrid which is holding a record of 32 titles.
