Everton Sack Manager Roberto Martinez
Everton have sacked Roberto Martinez after three years in charge of the club. The side have described the 42 year old as a ‘great ambassador’ who played a ‘key role’ in developing young players in the squad.
Despite this reception amongst the team, protests were scheduled against Martinez by fans. Former player David Unsworth and ex-boss Joe Royle are taking temporary charge, with the former Ajax coach Frank De Boer rumoured to be tied to the position.
